Pilates
Pilates is made up of a progressive series of exercises that focus on the correct muscle connections and controlled movement patterns. These optimise body awareness, function and alignment
The Pilates apparatus used in Physiotherapy Clinics and Studios strengthen and stretch muscles using spring resistance, while promoting dynamic core strengtht.
In Pregnancy based Pilates, modified and controlled movements focus on body alignment, releasing tension and strengthening muscles for stability. These aim to prevent dysfunctions and aid recovery of body shape after birth.
